Quick answers
What comes with a Gander Goose tour?
A 360° venue tour, venue photographs and a floorplan. Your website tour can also include custom clickable hotspots and information points. Details such as photo numbers and floorplan format are agreed with each venue.
Can it go on my website?
Yes. The tour is designed to be embedded on your website, and you can share it through a link or QR code. We’ll check how it fits with your site.
Can it appear on Google Maps?
It can be published as Street View imagery associated with your venue’s location. That is subject to Google’s image requirements, moderation and display behaviour, so we can’t promise timings, placement or ranking.
Do clickable hotspots work on Google Maps?
No. Custom information points and product or booking links are features of the website-hosted tour. Google Maps / Street View uses Google’s own viewing experience.
Can customers click through to buy or book?
Website-tour hotspots link to your existing product pages, menus, booking systems and membership pages. We don’t build a new checkout or booking engine, and the tour doesn’t show live stock.
Can we include access and facilities information?
Yes. We can highlight details your venue has confirmed, such as entrances and facilities. A tour doesn’t replace detailed accessibility information, an access assessment or accessible text alternatives, and it isn’t an accessibility certification.
What if our layout or offers change?
Text and link changes, such as a new offer or menu link, are different from physical layout changes. Moving furniture or refitting a space may need fresh capture. We’ll talk through what to expect, and we don’t promise unlimited updates.
How does the pilot work?
We’re testing Gander Goose with a small number of local businesses. Pilot venues get a reduced introductory price in exchange for honest feedback. Pricing depends on your venue and what you’d like to include, and we’ll discuss it once we know about your space.
